Foreign embassies, trade departments and chambers of commerce are looking for Austrian commercial agents

Vienna Chamber of Commerce

Accessibility Statement

Open item 1:[Responsible body] is committed to making this website accessible. This statement describes the current state of implementation.

Open item 2:[Preliminary question: does this platform fall within the scope of the Austrian Web Accessibility Act at all? It is access-restricted and addresses a closed group of users. The answer determines whether this statement is mandatory and which particulars it must contain.]

Scope

This statement applies to the website Open item 3:[production address of the website], including the access-restricted area.

Compliance status

Open item 4:[Compliance status: fully compliant, partially compliant or non-compliant. This may only be stated after an assessment — it is an assertion of fact, not a declaration of intent.]

The target is level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, and level AAA in parts. No assessment against that standard has been carried out so far.

What has already been implemented

The following points were taken into account during development. They are not equivalent to a passed assessment:

  • The pages are built semantically, with a heading hierarchy and labelled form fields.
  • All essential functions — sign-in, search, filters, the offer form, the shortlist and enquiries — work without JavaScript.
  • Text colours are chosen for a contrast ratio of at least 7:1 on a white background, that is, against the stricter level AAA.
  • Keyboard focus is visibly indicated.
  • No external fonts, no embedded content and no content delivery network are loaded.
  • The interface is available in German and English.

Non-accessible content

Open item 5:[After the assessment: a list of content that does not meet the requirements, each with a reason — non-compliance, disproportionate burden, or content outside the scope — and the planned date of remedy.]

Already known and unassessed: the patterned background image is served as pure decoration without a text alternative; the colour marks for open points on the legal pages are a drafting tool and will be removed before publication.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on Open item 6:[date].

Method: Open item 7:[Self-assessment or third-party assessment? If self-assessment: with which tools and against which test cases?]

Last reviewed: Open item 8:[date of the last review]

Feedback and contact

If you notice a shortcoming in accessibility, or if you need information in an accessible format, please contact:

Open item 9:[Name, e-mail address and phone number of the contact point, and the period within which a reply is given]

Enforcement procedure

Open item 10:[Reference to the complaints or conciliation procedure available if the contact point’s reply is unsatisfactory — competent body and address.]

Open item 11:This text is a draft and has not been legally approved. It describes the technical state of the platform and serves as a basis for discussion. Before publication it belongs to somebody who is liable for it.
